Welcome to Envirovisuals

Envirovisuals uses art to help individuals and organisations communicate social and environmental topics clearly, inclusively and effectively – enabling positive change.

Through hand-drawn and digital illustrations and infographics, Envirovisuals transforms complex, jargon-heavy information into accessible visual stories. From reports and posters to social media and thoughtfully designed merchandise (e.g. posters, tea towels), our visual summaries help important messages travel further and connect more deeply.

Environmental and social challenges are often global in scale and complex in nature. Art is a universal language. Whether through icons, illustrated systems maps, or carefully crafted visuals paired with key words, illustration transcends language, culture, and technical barriers. It distils complexity into clarity, highlights connections, and creates a shared understanding — bringing diverse audiences onto a level playing field.

Understanding facilitates action. By helping people see the key issues, relationships, and possible paths forward, EnviroVisuals supports meaningful dialogue, informed decision-making, and effective change.

Behind the pen is Becca. Alongside creative pursuits, Becca has a social science background in agriculture and rural development and is part of a UK environmental research programme building relationships with policy makers, farmers, NGOs and industry. This dual perspective — creative and analytical — ensures every piece of work is both visually engaging and grounded in evidence and real-world impact.

Work with Envirovisuals

We have worked with clients across the environmental and social impact sector, including government bodies, PhD researchers, NGOs, farmer-led initiatives, and campaign organisations. Illustrations include summaries of research, reports, webinars and events. Envirovisuals has provided live drawing (i.e. scribing) at events, and may restart this offering in the future.

Our approach is flexible, offering time for feedback on the visuals, and can be delivered in multiple formats (e.g. PNG, vector, printed) to suit your needs.

“The vibrancy of Envirovisuals’ work brings to life the sessions that UpRisers have to learn on their path to becoming leaders, making such lessons easier to remember and more fun!”
Qayum Mannan, UpRising UK

“Rebecca has been a pleasure to work with – a simple idea was quickly transitioned into an informative, structured and wonderfully appealing visual!”
Martin Callow, Regional Director, Wildlife Conservation Society

“We got in touch with EnviroVisuals to produce illustrations for two campaigns. Rebecca worked to tight deadlines and accommodated any feedback to ensure the final products were exactly what we wanted. The illustrations captured our key messages in a creative, informative and accessible way, and will be used to help us campaign towards a better food system for all”
Jo Ralling, Head of Communications, The Food Foundation
